Important Info

Hey guys!

First I would like to say thank you so much for all of your help at practice last night. I think it went really well. Everyone did great (minus my three year old, Brooks' behavior) and seemed to have a good time . Sorry about that!

I hope your child is as excited about their uniforms as mine are. I know uniform day is an exciting day! They are going to look so cute next week!
Some of you have asked about getting your child's names printed on the back of their shirts. That is completely up to you if you would like to do that. I am going to take ours today and I usually use the Sports Dome in downtown Newnan. He does a great job and usually has a quick turn around time. I don't remember the price per shirt, but I remember it being very reasonable, like less than $10 maybe?

Before our first game, which is next Wednesday, October 5th at 6:30pm, will you please make sure to label all of your child's belongings. Their hat, baseball glove, water bottle, etc. Thank you! This will cut down on some confusion during game time.

Also, don't forget to check the snack schedule to know when it is your day to bring snack or drinks for the team. I have the first game and then I believe Blair, our team mom, will be sending out reminders to you prior to each game to remind you individually if it is your day.

Please know that during the games we will always hit in the order number of our jerseys. For example, game 1 inning one, they will hit from 1-13. On game two we might start with number 2 or 3 and continue on in the same fashion.

As far as the pitcher's postion goes, please know that Beau and I will be rotating children to play that postion every 2-3 hitters. This will ensure that everyone gets some action during the game, as most balls are hit in that area.

Lastly, will you please respond to this e-mail with your child's name and number so I can have a list of everyone's number prior to game day.

Our First Practice

We had a great time at our first practice on Thursday. Everyone had a great time and did a great job! This is going to be a fun season!

Third Practice Date

I just received the date for our third and final practice before the season starts. It will be on Thursday, September 29th at 5:30pm.

Important Information

Your child will need to wear soft sole tennis shoes to every practice and game. No cleats are allowed.

Please bring your child's glove and a drink to every practice and game.

Uniforms will be given out the last week of September.

Please remember to label all of your child's items such as drink, bat, glove, hats, etc.

No dogs are allowed at the park.

If it is not raining at game time, we will play. The field is made of turf.

Our team mom will be contacting you with a snack schedule. Please bring a snack and drink for every player to enjoy after the game on your assigned game day. We have 12 players.

Children can wear their trick or treat costumes for the last game.
